Our Accel-Heal® unit is a small medical device, which makes a real impact in chronic wound management. With proven success in the management and healing of hard-to-heal wounds, in particular veinous leg ulcers (VLU).
In clinical trials, 95% of VLU wounds showed significant improvement within 5 months and 38% healed completely. These results were analysed by an independent health economist who’s report showed that for the 5 month trial period, there was a 15% reduction in costs using Accel-Heal® as an adjunct to the prescribed treatment over the cost of using the treatment alone.
